In der Soziologie und in Theorien digitaler Netzwerke steht der Ameisenhaufen auch h\u00e4ufig f\u00fcr Schwarmintelligenz.<br>\u201eUnder the Synthetic Hill an Uncertain Echo\u201c ist eine fiktive Feldforschung und m\u00f6chte diese gefestigten Zuschreibungen au\u00dfer Kraft setzen und beschreibt eine transzendentale Begegnung mit einem in den Ausstellungsraum eingenisteten Superorganismus im Zeitalter der &#8222;Critter&#8220;. \u201eUnder the Synthetic Hill an Uncertain Echo\u201c ist eine prozesshafte immersive Installation \u00fcber eine fiktive hybride Art, die zum Nachdenken \u00fcber die Grenzen zwischen Natur und Technologie, Arbeit und Freizeit einl\u00e4dt. Die Besucher:innen der Installation werden, inspiriert durch Methoden zeitgen\u00f6ssischer naturhistorischer Ausstellungsgestaltung selbst Kollaborator:innen der H\u00fcgelskulpturen. Verfremdete Field Recordings kreieren dazu eine synthetische Landschaft, die ein falsches Narrativ vorgibt. Ein Dialog zwischen zwei k\u00fcnstlerischen Positionen, die aufeinander reagieren, sich widersprechen&nbsp;und&nbsp;erg\u00e4nzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-2-background-color has-background\"><em>Industrious insects with efficient collective states, expansive road systems, impressive buildings, sophisticated warfare, and an unstoppable urge to obtain picnic crumbs: Ants are often used as models in politics, art, and social theory, serving as models for a wide variety of systems. In sociology and theories of digital networks, the anthill also frequently represents swarm intelligence.<br>&#8222;Under the Synthetic Hill an Uncertain Echo&#8220; is a fictional field study that seeks to override these established attributions and describes a transcendental encounter with a superorganism nested in the exhibition space in the age of &#8222;critters.&#8220; &#8222;Under the Synthetic Hill an Uncertain Echo&#8220; is a process-based, immersive installation about a fictional hybrid species that invites reflection on the boundaries between nature and technology, work and leisure. Inspired by methods of contemporary natural history exhibition design, visitors to the installation become collaborators with the hill sculptures themselves. Alienated field recordings create a synthetic landscape that presents a false narrative. A dialogue between two artistic positions that react, contradict, and complement each other.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery alignwide
